Dracula PRP Therapy™ was introduced to the UK by Doctor Daniel Sister. It’s a revolutionary, anti-aging procedure that uses the clients own blood cells to rejuvenate the skin, creating a younger, clearer, healthier complexion.
Sometimes referred to as ‘platelet rich plasma’ therapy, the procedure involves the extraction of a small amount of the client’s blood by needle. The blood is then separated – through a process of centrifugation – into red blood cells, clear serum and platelets. Vitamins and amino acids can be added to the platelets before it’s injected back into the skin as a serum via micro injections. Deeper injections can be applied to areas where deeper treatment is required.
The benefit of the treatment is in using the clients own blood cells, which contain proteins that stimulate DNA repair, healing and rejuvenation. There’s no need for synthetic fillers or chemical peels, meaning it’s a much more natural approach for tackling the everyday signs of aging. The serum starts to work immediately on application, but the full effects can take up to 3-4 weeks to become apparent.
It is sometimes confused with the vampire facial, which has generated a lot of (not so great) publicity for it’s bloody application. Dracula PRP Therapy™ does not involve the application of blood to the surface of the skin. It’s a medically proven technique that has evolved out of the use of PRP in the world of dentistry and the treatment of hair loss and sports injuries.
