Have you ever imagined an injection that can dissolve fat?

Aqualyx® is one of the newest aesthetic techniques for targeting stubborn, unwanted areas of fat on the body and face. It’s a highly effective, non surgical alternative to liposuction and surgery, often used to improve body contouring on areas such as the hips, saddlebags, stomach, thighs, the neck, face and chin. It is also favoured as a non-surgical technique for eradicating man boobs.

The procedure works by injecting a water based solution, deoxycholic acid, under the skin using very fine needles. The solution, which is similar to a substance produced by the body in the gut, contains plant polymers that break down the walls of the fat cell. The residue is then naturally excreted by the body, via the lymphatic system, as a waste product over a period of a few weeks.

As the procedure uses very fine needles, it’s minimally invasive, virtually pain-free, recovery time is minimal and the results are apparent in just a few weeks. As such it’s becoming increasingly popular as the preferred choice for tackling unwanted fat deposits where diets and exercise alone are not effective.
